More Information

Minutes? Seconds? Milliseconds?

Hendrik Becker - former European and runner-up world champion - has already taken part in 300 triathlons, has more than 100 overall victories to his name and, even at the age of 44, is unstoppable. In the new episode of “The MeisterSinger Moment” series, viewers experience how he lives his love of triathlon and what really matters to him.

For me, time plays no role at all in triathlon. I just want to enjoy the special moment - and that's what connects me with the MeisterSinger philosophy.

Triathlon isn’t only a sport to me – it’s my life!

Becker was 19 years old when he began to dedicate his life to triathlon. He tells MeisterSinger that he sometimes trained up to 10 hours a day. He still travels from competition to competition in a camper van and has seen the whole world. He talks with real passion about constantly discovering new landscapes, swimming in the clearest lakes, running through the densest forests or climbing the most beautiful mountains.

8 x around the world

In his 25 years as an active triathlete, Hendrik Becker has covered around 332,000 kilometers using his own energy, which is equivalent to circumnavigating the earth around the equator 8 times.

Swimming: 18,000 km
Cycling: 250,000 km
Running: 64,000 km

A true MeisterSinger

Becker is a passionate MeisterSinger wearer.

What motivates me in life is delicious food, beautiful landscapes, great bikes and, of course, beautiful watches. I've known MeisterSinger for many years and the brand suits me like a glove.

The MeisterSinger Moment

Triathlon is a sport in which every minute, every second, even every millisecond is supposedly important. But Becker is not concerned with the finish line or the exact time he achieves in the competition. It is a different moment that he experiences most intensely. The moment just before the starting gun goes off. When he is floating in the water and is about to do what he loves most again.
