Pangaea - Steel blue

The finely textured dial surface is composed of a kaleidoscopic pattern of countless fermatas. The fermata – a symbol for pause in musical notation and the signature emblem of MeisterSinger – adds a unique sense of refinement to the dial. Depending on the light and viewing angle, an intriguing interplay of structure and depth emerges, giving the watch an exceptionally vivid and elegant appearance. The design follows MeisterSinger’s clear and recognizable dial hierarchy: two-digit hour numerals and hour markers appear as refined appliqués, while the minutes are indicated by subtle dots in five-minute increments. Half and quarter hours are highlighted with slightly more pronounced markers, ensuring intuitive and highly legible time reading. Once per minute, the MeisterSinger sun wheel gently rotates around its axis and makes the steady flow of time and the motion of the movement visible.

The elegant, slender stainless steel case of the Pangaea Day Date is 40 mm in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. The gold (PVD) bezel highlights the watch’s particularly elegant character. The movement can be easily viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back as it performs its high-precision task.

The Swiss Sellita SW261 automatic movement, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches, quietly ticks inside the Pangaea. The rotor supplies the automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.
