Lunascope – Opaline Silver

In this version, the Lunascope is fitted with a silver-opaline-colored dial with blue contrasting highlights. The upper half features a sweeping cutout section where the moon orbits around the earth against the backdrop of a dark blue, star-studded night sky. The bezel of the circular date window at the 6 o’clock position is silver-plated and highly polished.

The slender stainless steel case is 40 mm in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. The movement can be easily viewed through the fourfold screwed glass exhibition back as it performs its high-precision task.

The MS Luna automatic movement ticks inside the Stratoscope and is fitted with the moon phase module developed by MeisterSinger. The movement is based on the Swiss Sellita SW220, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches. The Stratoscope’s moon phase display is exceptionally precise and only needs a slight adjustment every 122 years. The date display can be conveniently set via its quick-switch function. The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours.

The Lunascope is MeisterSinger’s first watch to feature an astronomical complication and has a surprise in store with its extremely precise and unusually large moon phase display that highlights a photorealistic, almost three-dimensional moon. The Lunascope has received the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, and the German Design Award for its outstanding design.
