The dial features a rich sunburst red finish inspired by the bridge’s distinctive color. MeisterSinger’s signature white single hand creates a crisp contrast, presenting the time with the calm clarity that defines the brand. Closer inspection reveals a wealth of carefully considered details. The twelve double-digit hour numerals and hour markers are applied in dark gray, adding depth to the dial while subtly echoing the bridge’s roadway. As a discreet reference to the bridge’s name, the numerals 2 and 5 stand out in white. Quarter hours are marked by fine strokes, while five-minute intervals are indicated by small dots. Another distinctive feature is the dark gray oval plaque positioned beneath the edition name. Engraved with the delicate silhouette of the 25 de Abril Bridge, it is a subtle detail that reveals itself only on closer inspection.

The 25 de Abril Edition is based on the elegant 40 mm Pangaea case, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. It is powered by the reliable Swiss-made Sellita SW200 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. The bridge motif continues on the reverse side, where the solid case back features a large engraved silhouette of the 25 de Abril Bridge along with the individual edition number.

For six decades, it has shaped Lisbon’s skyline and become one of Portugal’s most recognizable landmarks: the 25 de Abril Bridge. Opened in 1966, the two-level suspension bridge stretches more than 2.2 kilometers (1.4 miles) across the Tejo River, connecting the heart of Lisbon with Almada on the southern bank. For visitors, its striking red silhouette is often one of the city’s defining sights, whether viewed from Lisbon’s historic center, one of its many scenic overlooks, or while traveling along the riverfront.
