Edition Johann Strauss Pangaea

The Edition Johann Strauss Pangaea features an extraordinary dial design, a delicate, wave-like surface structure is reminiscent of the course of the Danube – a visual echo of Strauss’ most famous composition. Above the 6 o’clock position is a silver-colored portrait of Johann Strauss, discreetly integrated but clearly recognizable. The numerals, also in silver, are meticulously applied and add another structural layer to the design of the dial.

The elegant, slender stainless steel case of the Pangaea is 40 mm in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. The movement can be easily viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back as it performs its high-precision task. The back of the case features an elaborate, delicate engraving of Strauss’ likeness, along with his flowing signature and the edition number.

The Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches, quietly ticks inside the Pangaea. The rotor supplies the automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.

Johann Strauss (1825–1899) was an exceptional musical talent.
